Accidentally subscribed to Prisma Starter and received unpaid invoices

Hello Vercel Community,

I’m posting here because Vercel Support recommended that I explain my situation publicly in case it can be escalated or reviewed by the billing team.

A few months ago, while experimenting with Vercel integrations and databases for personal/student projects, I accidentally enabled the Prisma Postgres “Starter” integration through the Vercel Marketplace.

At the time, I genuinely did not realize this was a paid recurring subscription. I thought it was part of the normal Hobby/free ecosystem or a free starter integration for testing.

Important context:
- I am a student/hobby developer, not a company or commercial user
- I never intentionally purchased a paid database service
- I never actively used the Prisma database in production
- I was mostly experimenting and learning Vercel features
- I did not understand recurring billing had been activated

Unfortunately, the integration remained active in the background and eventually generated:
- 4 unpaid invoices
- totaling $40 ($10/month Prisma Starter plan)

Recently, my Vercel account became paused due to:
1. Hobby usage limits
2. Failed payment attempts related to the Prisma subscription

After contacting support:
- my account was temporarily unblocked for 30 days
- I was informed that future charges should stop
- I already removed/disconnected the integration
- but the unpaid invoices currently remain

I fully understand this was my mistake, and I should have checked the billing details more carefully. However, this was honestly an accidental activation while learning and experimenting with the platform.

I’m kindly asking whether a one-time exception or billing review might be possible for these unpaid invoices.

I truly enjoy using Vercel for learning and personal projects, and I would deeply appreciate any guidance, escalation, or help from the community or Vercel staff.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
