Agent mode cannot resolve the issue Runtime Error Unexpected token ‘>’

To everyone who’s facing issues:

No matter how long I waited, nothing progressed, so I downloaded the source code as a ZIP file from the menu in the top-right corner using v0, loaded it into Cursor, asked it to make the necessary fixes and deploy—and that actually got things working.

From Cursor’s source code analysis, I learned that the problem was due to JSX being mixed into .ts files.
It seems that Cursor resolved this by converting the .ts files to .tsx.

Thanks for sharing what worked for you! This is the root cause we found internally as well, that prompt was supposed to guide v0 to this same solution. Glad you got there in the end!

@pawlean

This issue has not yet been resolved in v0 and should not be marked as resolved. We still encounter lots of issues with Agent Mode.

We marked the solution as it worked for others, and from the engineering team this was the main problem.

Are you still facing this issue?

@pawlean I handled this issue on Claude.ai. At that time, the prompt you provided couldn’t be processed in v0, but I’m glad to hear that others were able to solve it. Currently, v0 is running smoothly as well.

I had the same issue just now. Burned 7 USD to try and resolve it, only for V0 to try and rewrite half my app, then keep getting stuck in endless loops without resolution. I eventually had to step in and restore an older version. This is totally unacceptable, and clearly not resolved.

Hey, @sebastian-7309! I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing issue. Could you start a new thread with a chat link so we can investigate? It may be a new bug.

I wanted to also share an update from the v0 team:

Hopefully this helps! Thank you all for your patience.
