Hi,

even though the “Show v0 Branding” option is deactivated the “Built with v0” badge won’t disappear.
I’m on Premium and I also deployed my application.

Is there another way to remove the badge?

Did you redeploy?

pjakubek (@pjakubek) · 2026-02-12 · ♥ 1

Yes, I redeployed a lot of times.

@pawlean do I need to create a support ticket for that? Or are you already aware of this issue and working on it?
I doubt that I’m the only one having this issue.

I flagged it to our v0 team

If you could share the chat link with us, that would helpful!

We haven't seen other reports recently yet, so curious about how you've switched it off.

Also, can you maybe just share the production url with me? i want to see if i can see the badge aswell. maybe its just a really bad caching error in your browser for example.

I deployed something yesterday and day prior (also on Premium account) and the badge is always default switched off (to not show). So it is odd that yours is showing if you have selected it to not show. Do send some screenshots or share chat with @pawlean to hand over to the team.

I fixed it now by removing the badge code manually from layout.tsx.
Idk what the “Show v0 branding” button actually does, because the code in layout.tsx never changed when I switched it on/off.
Issue solved, thanks for your answers! :flexed_biceps:

Hey! To help debug your v0 project, could you share your **v0 chat link**?
It looks like `https://v0.app/chat/...` — you can copy it from your browser's address bar while in the chat.

You'll also need to unlist the chat so our team can view it — here's how: https://v0.app/docs/sharing

This helps the team reproduce what you're seeing much faster. Thanks!
