# Export DNS records via Vercel dashboard UI

Hey team! I just came across [an article explaining how to export DNS records using the API](https://vercel.com/kb/guide/export-domain-dns-records-via-api). It’s definitely useful, but since this capability already exists at the `API` level, exposing it directly in the dashboard would be a big UX improvement!

Just a **Export DNS Records** button in the `UI` would make this faster and more accessible, skipping the whole `API` token creation process and everything else.
