# French .fr TLD buying

Hi,

Is it possible to buy a .fr domain on vercel, do you know if there is any plan to be able to in the future ? Most of the countries tld are already available but not the french one.

Hi @mthrobin-gmailcom. Vercel doesn't currently support buying a `.fr` domain. But you can buy the domain with another registrar and use it with your Vercel project. 

With an external domain you have the option to set an [Apex domain](https://vercel.com/docs/projects/domains/add-a-domain#apex-domains) and [CNAME record](https://vercel.com/docs/projects/domains/add-a-domain#subdomains) or to use [Vercel nameservers](https://vercel.com/docs/projects/domains/add-a-domain#vercel-nameservers) to connect it to your project.
