# How to disable automatic GitHub syncing in v0

I’ve noticed something strange today:
v0 now **auto-syncs every single change to GitHub**, even small edits.

This was **not** the previous behavior — it used to only sync when I manually pushed changes. Now, every time I modify a file, v0 immediately commits and pushes to GitHub without asking.

I checked all project settings, GitHub integration settings, and Git panels, but I **cannot find any option** to turn off auto-sync / auto-push / real-time sync.

I want to go back to the old workflow:
**edit → verify → manually push → sync to GitHub**
not auto-sync on every single change.

Did v0 recently change the default behavior? Where can I disable this automatic syncing?

This is expected behaviour. See latest post:
