Just jumping into some of the communities over the holidays and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jordan, I’m a independent researcher across a multidisciplinary and intersectional research: Ecology to Theoretical Cosmology.
I also love to slop-code an idea to life on the regs.
Looking to change my life, building the tools I wish existed for younger me.

Not sure if the Vercel community logo on Bluesky is official, but it might be nice to update the favicon/logo here to match. Would make it much easier to distinguish the community from all my other Vercel tabs I have open haha.

Passion project: am building an AI-supported caregiving assistant for a family member who suffers from mental health challenges. they are currently testing v2 of the prototype.
Built an email marketing app as well for my personal use and that’s been fun to do too.
Been stalling on the LLM for the Caregiving Assistant for now cause can’t figure out the hosting & security etc. privacy is a big concern and don’t want to teach the source.
bootstrapping and 1-person army. any tips?

I have been using Vercel for my Open Source and SaaS products for a long time now, but only just joined the community platform - I wished I joined sooner.
I am a Fullstack Engineer who has focused on Open Source for 15+ years! Plus I am a Digital Nomad, currently writing this from London but I was in Thailand for the last 4 months and going to spend 3 months in Portugal in 6 weeks. Hopefully meet some of you on my adventures.
