# Project is inaccessible due to account lock out

Hi! I would need help on recovering a project from an account. The account belongs to a previous team member who is no longer part of the organization. We have tried to recreate the email similar to the vercel account email but we are not getting the OTP to sign in

Hey @precious-launchpadap. You'll need to work with the current project owner to get it transferred to your team. If they have lost access to the account, you should contact our login and registration team at registration@vercel.com for help verifying account ownership.
