# Request to increase the Vercel Community discussion autoclose timeout

Just joined here and started browsing topics to see if I can learn something new or the opposite, provide some help/feedback as we’ve been working with the `AI SDK` for 14 months now heavily. But 95% of topics are closed dude to:

Did you consider extending the period to maybe 2 - 3 months?

Thank you, that would be great, even if the answer is no. I also think this could work well if you are able to configure it per category. Like support topics can be closed much quicker than general discussion topics for example
