Hi, hope you are doing well. The motive of this feedback is to help v0 dev team with an understanding of the average premium user’s pain and suggestions.
Pricing:
- The updated usage-based pricing has made many users upset. Now, most of us realise it is done to handle Vercel’s expenses, however it does not give us much edge over the free-tier users.
Earlier, it was in the ratio of 1:50(3 vs 150 messages) in terms of how the premium user benefitted by becoming premium, now it feels more coerced considering a lot of us have already developed major part of our application on v0 and cannot easily move out. - As of now, the advantage is 1:4, I hope you understand how we process these things.
Suggestion: Switch to token purchase and charge in the same manner you are doing now, but grant more tokens for premium users. For instance, a dollar buys 2.5M tokens let’s say and a free user should get 5M tokens only. So 50M tokens would still appear as 1:10 which in perspective would feel good.

Bugs & Prompts
- Implemented drop-downs and pop-up related UIs fail to work quite a few times, they work when code is moved to the system and run.
- Error fixing should not be charged if the user clicks on “Fix with v0”, I’ve seen quite a few AI tools that are allowing this.
- Making changes to variable names and hallucinating functions should be handled by your engine at the time of processing itself. If prompting an instruction to avoid it works, then I’m pretty sure you can handle it from your backend without charging us for it.
- Before performing a complete do-over, it should verify if the user would be okay with it. I’ve seen Replit listing out checkboxes that allow us to decide which aspects of the generation the AI should work on and not spread out in all directions simultaneously.
These were few right off the top of my head. I do keep adding suggestions to the chat window because it’s much easier there instead of noting everything and consolidating it here.
