# v0 chat loses Vercel project and GitHub repository connections after switching default team

After switching the “Default Team” setting in my `v0` workspace settings (`https://v0.app/chat/settings/workspace`), my existing `v0` chat lost its connections to both the `Vercel` project and the `GitHub` repository.

## What I’ve Tried

* Going to the chat sidebar settings to reconnect the `Vercel` project — only a “Create new project” option is available, with no way to reconnect to the existing project.
* Clicking the `GitHub` logo in the sidebar to reconnect the repository — again, only a “Create new” option is shown.
* Switching the Default Team back to the original team — the connections were not restored.

## Current Situation

* The `Vercel` project and `GitHub` repository still exist and are intact.
* The `v0` chat and all code within it are still accessible.
* The only issue is that the `Vercel` deployment integration and `GitHub` push/pull functionality are disconnected and cannot be re-established from the `v0` UI.

## Additional Context

I use two `Vercel` teams (“A” and “B”) for different projects and need to connect `v0` chats to each respectively. Switching the Default Team appears to be a destructive action with no warning or recovery path.

It would be helpful to have either a confirmation dialog before switching teams, or the ability to reconnect existing integrations after switching.
