To see the preview, open in a new tab.”** On top of that, on multiple occasions over the past few days, v0 has **stated that it made changes to specific files that were never actually made**. There are no pull requests created, no commits pushed directly to GitHub — nothing. Verifying the repository confirms the files are unchanged, despite v0 reasoning as if the fixes exist. This is a **serious issue** for anyone relying on v0 in an actual development workflow. I’m not trying to bad-mouth the product — I’ve had genuinely great experiences with it before. But this past week has been extremely problematic: the AI keeps consuming credits while repeatedly claiming work has been done, when in reality nothing is committed, and at the same time the preview is inaccessible due to the browser restriction error. At that point, you’re stuck paying for iterations you can neither verify in preview nor find in your repository. The only way I h Pauline P. Narvas (@pawlean) · 2026-02-08 · ♥ 1 Hey, @hub-viking93! Sorry to hear you're experiencing this frustrating situation with v0 😞 I can definitely understand how problematic this would be for your development workflow, especially when credits are being consumed without the expected results. Thanks for sharing those detailed descriptions of both the browser restriction issue and the phantom commits problem. To help investigate this further, could you share your v0 chat link? It will look something like `https://v0.dev/chat/...` Having access to the specific chat where these issues occurred will help the team understand exactly what's happening with both the preview restrictions and the claimed file changes that aren't actually being made. Let us know how you get on! Gkhneski (@gkhneski) · 2026-02-18 was soll das
