If I could, I’d honestly be wearing Vercel shirts and pins everywhere just to represent the company. I’m currently unemployed though ![]()
As I started learning more about the Vercel ecosystem, I realized v0 is just one small part of something much bigger. But even so, v0 has helped me a lot.
It’s been helping me through college, with my personal projects, and even with small work-related things here and there. It’s one of the tools that really fits into my daily routine as a developer who’s still growing.
Right now I’m doing whatever freelance work I can just to get by. Things like mowing lawns, working as a party entertainer, and babysitting. I’m grateful for those opportunities, but they don’t really give me stability or help me grow in the tech and AI direction I’ve been working toward.
One thing that’s been tough is that the Students program isn’t available in Brazil yet. Since I earn in Brazilian reais and credits are in USD, I have to be really careful with how I use them. I’ve been optimizing my prompts and workflow as much as I can, and it helps, but it’s still not easy.
Even so, I keep using v0 because it’s genuinely making a difference in how I learn and build.
If anyone has advice on how someone from Brazil can better prepare for opportunities in the international tech market, especially in the US, I’d really appreciate it.
And honestly, thanks to the Vercel team for building something that’s helping me keep moving forward.
