<!-- Be sure to include all detail needed to let others see the same problem -->

A contributor to the Sherlock project, an open source OSINT command line tool, wants to deploy his API to Vercel. Sherlock scans 400+ social media sites for user details for cybersecurity intelligence tooling. He is getting an error when testing the API, specifically, `ModuleNotFound: sherlock_project.py` which is the module he needs.

I am asking here as I am trying to help him solve the issue as this is out of scope of the sherlock project itself. I am guessing this isn't covered in Vercel Fair Use? This is my thinking and if so I can help the team close the issue and if not, I can help him troubleshoot his API. He is using the Django REST Framework.

Hi, @twhite96!

Thanks for your question! I'm unsure of the exact answer given the nature of the API (trying to figure out if it's considered a scapper?), but will loop back after asking the team internally. For now, I'll leave our Fair use Guidelines below for you to review:

https://vercel.com/docs/limits/fair-use-guidelines#fair-use-guidelines

As for the `ModuleNotFound` error, this is likely a configuration or deployment issue that we can get into after reviewing the guidelines.

Appreciate your patience!

Hi, @twhite96!

As promised, I got an answer from the team. Unfortunately, this is classed as a scraper and so, it’s not eligible to be deployed on Vercel as per our Fair use guidelines.

Let me know if you have any questions!
