# Vercel toolbar search opens with AltGr+Q on Windows when shortcuts are disabled

Even though I have all keyboard shortcuts disabled, when I hit `AltGr+Q` (the `@` sign on a German keyboard), the Vercel toolbar search (**"What do you need?"**) pops up.

- **Environment:** Windows
- **Keyboard Layout:** German
- **Issue:** `AltGr+Q` triggers search despite shortcuts being disabled.

Hi Jan!

Do you have the [browser extension](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/vercel/lahhiofdgnbcgmemekkmjnpifojdaelb?hl=en) installed? The keyboard shortcut for activating the toolbar can only be modified/disabled when that’s installed, so just want to confirm.

If this is still happening with that installed, can you share a screenshot of exactly what the menu shows immediately after it’s opened?

I did not, but the settings shown to me do not indicate the AltGr+Q would be one of the shortcuts that can not be changed:

I’ll install the extension now and check again.

Installed the extension now, and seems that AltGr+Q does not trigger the toolbar any more. Nice.
This is what the settings look like now:

My theory “^” in the non-toolbar version really means AltGr+Q in Windows and is just not shown correctly?

Yeah, it’s not supposed to trigger for AltGr+Q. I’ll investigate further

Glad to hear that the extension stops it from triggering though! Thank you for reporting, and please let us know if you encounter any other issues
