Really fast :) Amy Egan (@amyegan) · 2024-12-18 · ♥ 1 I've been using VS Code since it's familiar. But it can be uncomfortably slow sometimes. Maybe I should give Vim a try  Josh Dunsterville (@neversitdull) · 2024-12-18 · ♥ 2 Yeah that’s my go to as well. I’ve really been liking how quick Zed is but it’s still missing a few features. Pauline P. Narvas (@pawlean) · 2024-12-19 · ♥ 4 I've been using VS Code for as long as I can remember :raised_hands: But I've been curious about what the folks at Zed are building for a while, will definitely give it a go soon. Jonoroboto (@jonoroboto) · 2024-12-19 · ♥ 3 Love Zed, love Cursor. I will say, the last time I used Zed, there were a couple shortcuts missing from VS Code that I wanted. Also it sounds silly, but Dracula (the best theme ever made) looks completely different on Zed with Syntax highlighting. I always wanted Cursor to "do their thing" and create a fork of Zed with the functionality of Cursor, and I'd blow a fuse. I really want Zed to do well though. Honestly, you'd be surprised how fast it is, with keystrokes feeling instantaneous. But we're stilling maining v0.dev and Cursor ✌️
