# Why v0 builds stop when Shared Credit Pool balance is available

## Problem

What is the `Shared Credit Pool`? I have a `Team` plan. I also have some `Shared Credits`. However, the account runs out of credits and all builds (and `API` builds) stop as soon as my other credits are up, even though I still have plenty of shared ones.

## Current Behavior

* When I purchase new credits I can use them, but not the ones I had before.
* In the **Credit Expiration Schedule**, I can see two line items for `Shared Credit Pool`.

Hi @yobo, could you explain what the "build" and "API builds" mean here? Are you not able to chat with v0?

What is the `Shared Credit Pool`?

On Team and Enterprise plans, **Shared Credit Pool credits** are shared among all team members:

* Monthly credits are still individual per user
* Shared Credit Pool credits are shared across the team
* Shared Credit Pool credits are used after individual monthly credits are exhausted
* Shared Credit Pool credits expire one year after purchase

I am using the v0 platform API. When starting a chat i get a “Pipeline failed: v0 credits exhausted ($0.00 remaining). Top up the v0 account before building.” error.

I see. Let me ask the team about this.
