I’ve always used `mini` — and it was never like this before. To be clear: I’m the one who told it to respond with just **"App router."** So this isn’t about output quality. - One request took **8 seconds** and still charged **0.3+ credits**. - Another chat took **58 seconds** and charged **0.4+ credits**. That pricing doesn’t add up. Same model. Very small outputs. But inconsistent and surprisingly high credit usage. ## Questions * How exactly are credits being calculated now? * Why does a tiny response still cost this much? * Why is there no transparency on these changes? I’ve been using `mini` consistently, and this behavior is new. We need clarity on what’s going on. odin (@odintrades) · 2026-04-06 Yea it seems there is a sort of minimum credits spent for prompts no matter how difficult they are, and or it is based of how many users at that time use the models? Like if there is a overload of users it maybe takes longer. Best to be very careful and not spam small questions or changes haha 😅
