# Will you be making the Geist Icons, public?

Hello,
I really like Geist Icons, some users have already ported it to Figma. I think you should make Vercel's Geist Icons pack public for positive feedback. Because if this is made into an icon library, our projects will definitely gain more functionality. I don't like Lucide icon library at all.

@rauch-g My feedback may be valuable to you, we users have such a demand.

There are [no immediate plans to release them as an icon library](https://community.vercel.com/t/vercel-geist-design-system/2313/5), and they're not published under an open source license at the moment. 

For anything you're building right now, I would recommend using one of the other icon libraries that are already available. I know you said you don't like Lucide. But there are some other options:

- [Tabler](https://tabler.io/icons)
- [Iconoir](https://iconoir.com/)
- [Phosphor](https://phosphoricons.com/)
