$20 Credit vanished without any usage

These are screenshots of my Dashboard.
My Payment cycle is from 25th every month. I have been charged $20 on 25th May and a couple of days later it says I have no credit left in my account.
As you see in my screenshot I hardly used it anywhere, on 26th May it says 6 messages and later on 10th May it says 10 Messages. It doesn’t make sense to deduct money for a Buggy Usage calculator. I am unable to use the app.
Any help ?

Hi @subhash-8311, welcome to the Vercel Community!

I’m sorry you’re facing such an issue. Are you saying that you’ve not used v0 from your last billing cycle at all and have been charged credits?

You heard it right @anshumanb . As you can see in my screenshot i haven’t used it. Can you give me my Credit back? I am unable to use it.

@subhash-8311 Same thing happened to me too

Hi @subhash-8311, I see from the screenshot that you had usage on the 26th and 29th of May, which are after the billing period resets. Can you check and share the Billing and Usage > Usage Events to see where the credits were used?

Here’s a screenshot of my Usage Event. I can see I have used some credits on 26th and 29th of May.
But considering a small project with a couple lines of Prompt will cost me an Input Credit of $9.09 is Outrageous. (If you wish I can share my chat. It’s hardly 3 lines)
I can see previously with Med model it costed me around max $0.6 but the moment it switched to Large (Not sure how I switched back then), the price got significantly increased.
I know Large model costs more, But $9 for 3 lines for prompt?? Something is seriously wrong with how it is being calculated.
I saw many people have complained about this credit system. Seems there was a communication Gap between Vercel and user. Even I myself was not ready for this kind of transition.

Not sure how you are going to resolve this but I’ll be happy if I can get even $10 of Credit so I can finish my project, rather than waiting for another 10days to restore Credits.

Thanks for sharing this detail with me @subhash-8311. Rest assured, we will check and help you out here.

Can you share the chat ID here?

@anshumanb Alright I am not sure about chat ID and from where to get it.
This is something I have got from the URL of the chat window - W0L9VjYhhhl
This is something I have got from the Project, must be a Project ID - tMbfVBMRsqN
Let me know if it works for you. If not I can share the whole Chat with you, since it’s a private project, not sure how secure it is to share here in a public forum.

Hi @subhash-8311, this works well. You did the right thing. We should not share private details on the forum. I’ll take this information and work with our v0 team to help you out.

I’ll reach out to you if we need anything else.

@anshumanb - Any update ?

Hi @subhash-8311, I received an update from the team.

It turns out the request for converting the schema from one ORM to the other is quite an intensive task for v0 because v0 had to go back and forth to fix issues and validate the schema on the go. It takes many passes internally to generate the final outcome. Hence, the cost is quite high because this all happened with the large model.

I hope this clarifies the issue. I’ve shared the feedback with the team to provide more information in such scenarios directly in the v0 usage dashboard.

Unfortunately, There wasn’t any need of schema conversion for this project (the project that I shared above) and neither I did that. I already shared my chat, and it doesn’t have any request like that. Not sure how it’s being calculated.

Hi @subhash-8311, sorry for the confusion. The request I shared may belong to another chat on your account, but it is the one that consumed this amount.
