As of today, any and all projects blocks that I duplicate, or have recently duplicatyed, end up with “chat only”, meaning there’s no preview / file tree + source code pane. Which renders v0 completely unusable. I also opened a pri 1 support ticket at Login – Vercel if someone at v0 wants to take a look.
This issue with the “suddenly source code disappearing” has been an issue here since January 2025 by all appearances and still hasn’t been resolved. v0 is not a cheap tool and its #1 job should be to preserve the work that has already been created. It fails badly at that, and something changed today that makes all of our source code disappear on a new Duplicate.
I cannot find words to overstate my frustration and disappointment that software of this poor quality is released for-pay to the public. Terrible! And there are much stronger adjectives that I really feel but let’s leave it at that.
