Hello Vercel Team,
I’m requesting clarification and, if possible, a manual review of an AI Gateway suspension on my account/team.
Team: chenji2028-5713
I created the AI Gateway recently for legitimate personal AI development and OpenClaw integration.
My setup was very limited and consisted mainly of connectivity tests:
- Created one Vercel AI Gateway API key.
- Completed payment card verification.
- Connected the official Vercel AI Gateway provider in OpenClaw.
- Provider Allowlist is OFF.
- Model Allowlist is OFF.
- I only performed a small number of minimal model connectivity tests.
Observed results:
- alibaba/qwen-3-14b via DeepInfra → HTTP 200
- google/gemini-3.8-flash via Google Vertex AI → HTTP 403
- google/gemini-3.8-flash via Google → HTTP 403
- anthropic/claude-opus-4.6 via Google Vertex AI → HTTP 403
- openai/gpt-6-astra via Azure → HTTP 403
- spacexai/grok-4.7 → HTTP 403
All of these requests are visible in my Vercel AI Gateway logs.
I then contacted Vercel Agent and was informed that the AI Gateway team had suspended my account and that Customer Support could not review it.
I do not know what triggered the suspension.
I have not attempted to bypass the suspension by creating another account, another team, rotating keys, or using another payment method.
I would like to comply with Vercel’s policies and understand what happened.
Could a Vercel staff member please help clarify:
- Whether this suspension applies specifically to AI Gateway or to my entire Vercel account.
- Whether the suspension is temporary or permanent.
- Whether there is an appeal/reconsideration process.
- Whether any action is required from me to resolve the issue.
I can provide the relevant gen_... request IDs and screenshots from the AI Gateway logs privately if needed.
For security reasons, I will not post my API key publicly.
Thank you for reviewing this.
