Announcing Zeta, a shadcn registry to manage private/premium projects

Hello Vercel Community.

This week I launched a shadcn registry template called Zeta.

I’m working with different partners, in this initial version, I choose Polar.sh as the License Key provider. Your component are protected and only can be accessible if the user authenticates with their License Key.

I’m working on a dedicated docs page. I’m in conversations with Better Auth, and hopefully Vercel team can also give some assistance, especially for those who want to deploy the registry into their Vercel account.

This is it by the meantime, but definitely, the future of Zeta and shadcn registries in general is promising.

Let me know your thoughts!

Thank you Pauline.

I was looking for a way to deploy a Zeta next.js app, and give the deployment application to the user.

It turns out you guys already cooked that, it’s called Claim Deployments: https://claim-deployments-demo.vercel.app, and you guys not only went through a demo, also there’s a lot of documentation about this service.

So I left this in case anyone else is looking for something similar.

Thank you!

This looks awesome, nice job on the UI. It’s also the same name as the recently released Zed AI model, so I was confused for a second :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I did not know about this. It would have been useful to me quite a few times, I’m gonna bookmark this for future reference :eyes:

Thank you @bestcodes.

I was not aware about Zed, zeta was randomly generated by Vercel deployments, and I was like, why not :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I’m going to add more integrations (authentication and teams support), but always open for feedback and new ideas.
