Hi everyone,
I am experiencing an issue where my GitHub pushes suddenly stopped triggering auto-deployments to Vercel, starting today around 2:00 PM. No configuration changes were made on the Vercel side or in the project.
Here are the details of my setup and what I have tried so far:
-
Project Details:
-
My project is on the Hobby plan.
-
Connected to a private repository
-
The Symptoms:
-
Pushes to the
mainbranch do not appear in Vercel Deployments at all. -
The last successful auto-deploy occured around 2 PM. After that, all subsequent pushes are ignored.
-
I created a manual Deploy Hook. When triggered via GitHub Actions, it successfully returns
{"state":"PENDING"}, but no actual deployment is created or shown in the dashboard. -
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
-
I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the GitHub repository in Settings → Git.
-
I verified my Git author email. The commits pushed after the failure were updated to use my verified Vercel account email, but they are still being ignored.
It seems like the webhook payloads are being received but silently ignored or blocked on the Vercel backend. Has anyone encountered this recently, or is there an active platform restriction affecting deploy hooks/private repo pushes on Hobby accounts?
Any guidance or help from the community or Vercel team would be greatly appreciated!
