Can’t Export ZIP or Deploy to GitHub—Seeing “error:38” on Both Actions

Hey all—I’ve got a private v0.dev project with both GitHub and Vercel integrations showing as “Connected,” but when I click the Export ZIP button in the Code view or hit Deploy in the top-right, I immediately get back {"error":"38"} and nothing happens. I’ve tried:

  • Disconnecting & re-authorizing the GitHub integration (with full “repo” scope)
  • Confirming my target GitHub repo is empty and that v0.dev has write access
  • Refreshing the browser and testing in an Incognito window

No luck so far. Has anyone else run into “error:38” on export or deploy? Any tips on unblocking the ZIP download or the GitHub push would be hugely appreciated!

Error 38 just means “Internal Server Error” so we’ll need to check the logs here

Can you share a chat ID where this has happened? You can keep the chat private, we just need the URL to check the logs
