Can’t upload project zip file without making new chat.

I’m using v0 on my iPhone with a browser. Sometimes there’s an issue with v0 forgetting code and so once I fix another issue I check the whole app and there’s parts missing which forces me to play catch up.

A seemingly good workaround for this was to upload a zip file of a previous version for the project and give it some instructions so it knew what to replace the current code with.
However, when I try send a message with the Zip file it gives me an error and the only option to send the project Zip file is to start a new chat so I’m unable to connect the past and the present project version together.

Is it possible to allow project zip files to be sent without making a new chat?

I felt it was worth asking for this because it would saves 10s of credits and hours of time.

Please note if the v0 team would benefit from me outlining the small bugs or ideal quick fixes for users who use v0 on their phone I’d be happy to write out a list with exact details.

@lukek Please do! :folded_hands:

Over the next week or so, every time I encounter a bug or inconvenience I’ll write it in my Notes and then send it here :+1:

I’m not committed to this anymore by the way… I would say the biggest leap v0 can make for mobile users is to just make it less laggy when chats get busy or the phone is slightly overheating. Not sure if that’s possible :man_shrugging:

@pawlean Since you’ve also personally experienced lag when you’ve built with v0 on your phone rather than computer, do you think it’ll get better (in terms of not lagging) in the near future or am I going to be forced to use a MacBook Air?

Obviously the issue is the amount of code in my project but I don’t really want to split it up into sections because apps are like a pizza, you can’t really separate it because everything works off eachother in a sense.. is that a stretch? You get my point lol.
