I'm trying to add a subdomain from freedns.afraid.org to my Vercel project. Vercel asks for a TXT record to be added to the root domain when the domain is already in use by another account, but I can't modify the root domain's DNS settings on freedns.afraid.org.
What I expected?
I should be able to add the subdomain to Vercel without needing to add a TXT record at the root domain level, or there should be an alternative verification method for subdomains from services like freedns.afraid.org.

You can also use v0 to narrow down the possibilities.
It needs a change in vercel's systems of adding sub-domains to project, reading current process of adding domains wouldn't help anything.
