I am trying to migrate my Vercel Blob storage to another provider, but I cannot export/download my own blobs because my Hobby Blob Data Transfer limit has been exceeded.
Current usage shown in the dashboard:
- Blob Data Transfer: 10.8 GB / 10 GB
Current behavior:
- My website still appears to load some images, likely because they are cached.
- However, when I try to download/export the blobs directly using the Blob SDK or direct fetch, every file fails with
403 Forbidden. - This prevents me from migrating my files away from Vercel Blob.
Expected behavior:
- I need temporary access to download/export my existing Blob files so I can migrate them to another storage provider.
- I am not trying to continue serving production traffic from Vercel Blob; I only need to retrieve my own stored files.
Steps/code used:
I used a local Node.js script with my BLOB_READ_WRITE_TOKEN to list and download blobs.
The listing works, but downloading fails for every file.
Example failure:
FAILED: uploads/1781204429798-qya46wz5.jpgPublic download failed: 403 ForbiddenDone. Downloaded 0 files to ./vercel-blob-exportI also tried using authenticated requests with:
headers: { Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.BLOB_READ_WRITE_TOKEN}`,}but downloads still fail with 403 Forbidden.
Could you please temporarily unblock Blob access or enable the one-time courtesy unblock so I can download my files and complete the migration?
