I’m trying to transfer a project from my Team to my personal account since I no longer need it to be on a team. However, I only see my Team in the scope switcher. I cannot access or create projects under my personal account — the switcher only lists my Team and “Create Team.” However, I can access https://vercel.com/account, which shows my personal account settings.
The post below indicates it is possible and was a specific feature added (or at least was back when this was posted), and I haven’t been able to find any further information indicating otherwise.
Projects all belong to a “team” rather than a specific personal account. (Easier transitions between hobby and pro - Vercel has more info). You should see all available teams listed in the transfer popup in project settings.
It looks like you currently only have one team, so there’s nowhere else for you to transfer the project. If you were previously on a Pro plan, you could simply downgrade without moving projects to a different Hobby team. And you can easily upgrade the team from Hobby to Pro if you ever need the features and usage levels available on the Pro plan.
There’s no need to switch projects between different teams simply because you changed your plan.
