Pro team mariodiego, billing cycle 18 July to 18 August 2026.
My current invoice has a line under AI Tokens for Vercel Agent: usage 40.73, charge $40.73. Infrastructure subtotal for the whole cycle is $41.62, so the Agent is essentially the entire bill. Every other product line is cents.
The Agent usage page shows nothing for the same period. At /mariodiego/~/agent/usage it says "Vercel Agent not enabled", Suggestions Made 0, Cost $0, "No data in this time range". The daily consumption chart in billing shows three spikes of roughly $12 each on 5, 6 and 13 August, all inside that window.
[REPLACE: I have never enabled Vercel Agent and have no chats or tasks in the Agent section. / I did use Agent chat on those dates, but there is still no itemisation anywhere I can find.]
Already checked:
- Usage page grouped by project: [REPLACE with what you saw]
- Agent > Tasks and chat history: [REPLACE]
- Team activity log for Agent being enabled: [REPLACE]
- GitHub PRs for review comments on those dates: [REPLACE]
What I am asking for:
- Where does the $40.73 come from. Which chats, code reviews or investigations, on which dates, against which projects or repos.
- What the usage figure of 40.73 actually counts. There is no unit shown. How many billable tokens, and what was the split between provider pass-through cost and the $0.25 per million Vercel Token Rate.
- Why the Agent usage page reports zero for a period that was billed. The docs say usage and cost columns show the cost of each code review, investigation or paid chat action, so this page should not be empty.
- The docs also say Agent does not bill paid work until an authorised team member enables usage billing, and that it prompts for consent before paid work continues. When was usage billing enabled on this team, and by whom.
Two smaller issues while I am here:
- The support assistant sent me to https://vercel.com/mariodiego/~/settings/billing/agent-usage which 404s. The page that works is /mariodiego/~/agent/usage.
- The same assistant told me Agent costs $0.30 per code review or investigation. That pricing was replaced in the June changelog by $0.25 per million tokens plus pass-through provider cost. Whatever the assistant reads from is out of date.
I can send the invoice ID and full screenshots privately if someone from Vercel needs them.
