The ChatGPT connection to Vercel MCP authenticates successfully, but requests with an explicit team scope return 403 Forbidden.
Project: finvera Team scope: finvera-hub
Observed behavior:
- list_teams returns an empty list.
- get_project and list_deployments succeed when teamId is omitted.
- Adding the teamId returned in the project’s accountId causes these requests to fail with 403.
- get_runtime_logs also fails with 403.
- I can open the project’s logs in the Vercel dashboard.
Error: Not authorized: Trying to access resource under scope “finvera-hub”. You must re-authenticate to this scope or use a token with access to this scope.

I have already reconnected the integration without resolving the issue. Account Settings → Sign in with Vercel → ChatGPT (owned by Vercel MCP) lists permissions including “Read your Vercel team data” and “Read Monitoring data.”
Vercel Agent directed me to report this here because MCP is in Public Beta.
Could the MCP team investigate OAuth team scope resolution and advise on a fix or supported workaround?
