Hello Vercel Team,
I'm reporting an issue with the ChatGPT Vercel MCP integration.
My project exists and is accessible in the Vercel dashboard, but the ChatGPT MCP integration cannot access it.
Environment:
- Vercel account: info@majanduskava.ee
- Team: Solvere
- Team slug:
solvere-bf1a29ad - Team ID:
team_GY6C3rPK94Auw75bVSthUdCK - Project:
solvere-portaal - Project ID:
prj_R1gWlg3rEQrGcLqaY1RXFc8JWb8o - GitHub repository:
solvere-ou/solvere-portaal
Problem:
The ChatGPT Vercel MCP integration successfully authenticates my account and can identify the Solvere team.
However:
- Listing projects under the Solvere team returns an empty list.
- Retrieving the project by name returns
404 Project not found. - Retrieving the project by its exact Project ID also returns
404. - Listing deployments returns
403 Permission denied.
Steps already taken:
- Reconnected the Vercel integration in ChatGPT.
- Confirmed that the Solvere team is marked as Authorized.
- Verified that the project exists in the Vercel dashboard.
- Explicitly specified the team slug
solvere-bf1a29adin MCP requests, as recommended by Vercel Support. - Retried with the exact Team ID and Project ID.
The issue persists.
Vercel Support advised me to report this here because Vercel MCP is currently in Beta.
Expected behavior:
ChatGPT should be able to list and access my existing project and its Preview deployments using the authorized Solvere team scope.
Actual behavior:
The MCP integration returns an empty project list, 404 for the project, and 403 for deployments.
Could the Vercel MCP team investigate whether this is an authorization, team-scoping, or integration issue?
I can provide screenshots showing the project in the Vercel dashboard and the authorized team in ChatGPT.
Thank you!
