Lets goooo!:rocket: @rauch-g

We will be there. Really excited for this after seeing so many podcast of him and his views on programming right now.

I had a really great sleep the other day. Woke up without the alarm clock and the first thing that came to my mind was: one day I’d like to be a part of Vercel’s developer community team. Does Vercel at all have this thoughts people-wise to eventually start hiring globally remote? Keep up the great work folks!

Please do ask, even I’m interested! I did apply for one of the open positions, but it seems they found someone better :smiling_face_with_tear:

Let’s go for another one as I cannot edit the previous one. How do you folks approach engineering culture at Vercel and how (high-level) do you balance regular product development lifecycle (your own engineering ideas) with all sorts of product feedback intake from your customers and community that you ingest from lots of places?

Two more  Sorry for taking over :grimacing:

  1. From your perspective what distinguishes someone who is good from someone who is exceptional in their role?
  2. No product is perfect but there are some products (like Vercel) that are exceptional all-arounders. Talking to Vercel ex-users that have low opinions (sick!) about Vercel, what would they say?

I would like to contribute to Vercel, specifically translating the docs to Spanish. Please reach out so we can help Latin American devs, thanks!

Great session! It looked like Guillermo enjoyed it the most, you could see his excitement when sharing the technical details. :joy:

Thank you for your questions, @konradsopala-6261! Sorry we couldn’t get to them, it was very AI-heavy this time round. We’ll save these ones for next time :folded_hands:

@rodalexanderson Thanks for the offer! We’ll pass this on. You are also welcome to jump into the threads here if you want to contribute.

Thanks again for joining us, Riza!

I loved the conversation you had with Jack Altman on his podcast! Something you spoke about was how with the rise of agentic, we're seeing a reduction in the negative feedback loop of errors when coding. You mentioned noticing that users/customers are already starting to "not see" errors anymore, even when they're clear in the logs. Instead, they're looking for outcomes. How is Vercel thinking about that when building for both seasoned devs and non-technical folks? Thanks!!

amen! i think across the board people need to think about this anti-fragile approach across building any product with ai. assume it will be wrong, and have systems/approaches/ux that make actual sense
