Join the Vercel Community for a deep dive into Design Systems on June 19.
In this session, we’ll explore the three levels of design systems - Primitives, Prototypes, and Production. You’ll learn about composable design system APIs through the Shadcn registry, discover how MCP UI enables integration with LLMs and agents, and understand the relationship between native and remote design systems.

Matt might get to this during the preso but I was curious - How do you see LoRAs fitting into a structured design system pipeline like what MCP UI enables? Would you ever use a LoRA in place of (or alongside) primitives and prototypes to get more reliable LLM outputs?

Interesting! I haven't thought of this before. Can you share a use case or example as such to add to it?

Answers to your questions:
How have you been implementing your design system in v0? - yes, we have found great success in both doing ux and sales prototypes and live front-end codebase changes. we have AI also document the prototypes and work we do and that has accelerated our professional work from months to hours. real results not hyperbole.
Are you technical or non-technical and needed a design system. - we are a technical team and I am technical too in terms of a designer that can understand and implement code.
Have you playing with shadcn registry? - I have not but we will definitely look into it at Miros.ai

Haha, welcome Robert! Great answers here. I'll definitely follow up with more thoughts. If you have any v0 feedback, let us know :)

@anshumanb one of the use cases for loras + a structured design system was like if you had a design system powering a form generator for a government agency /medical app. The form components (input, dropdown, validation, etc.) are built as primitives and prototypes in something like Shadcn. If you wanted an LLM to generate these forms dynamically in a very specific tone (HIPAA-compliant or formal legal language) you could use a LoRA fine-tuned on that specific language. Curious if anyone has explored using loras and a design system together in a similar use case!

At Miros.ai -I have not used a LoRa at all (I do not know what it is) but we are working towards something like this because our components will be used by major e-commerce brands and they should be aligned with the latest accessibility standards by default.

Sorry if that’s kind of an off topic question lol. Squirrel brain
Mwahaha Vercel evangelism starts at home folks! (Trevor is my husband and I’ve been infodumping about v0 ALOT lol)
