How many messages and edits can I do with the $20 a month plan?
I’m always curious as I can then plan ahead. saw somewhere that there is a daily rate limit. Please do let me know of all info I need.
Thanks

It all depends on how complex the changes are, how many revisions, how much you take advantage of tools like styles instead of prompting for each style change, etc.
Basically, there’s not a fixed number. But here are some screenshots from one of my teams that I use for debugging and building example projects. You can see some messages use more credits (in this case, when I asked it to generate images and rewrite whole projects) and some use very little (like when I requested small changes focused on a single component or asked for info and suggestions)
I hope that helps!
I’ll mainly do page updates (slight) and feature additions. The initial message might be long, as expected but after that it will be minimal. Please do let me know based on that
The per message costs really can vary a lot depending on what’s being done and how big a file or project is. To give you a more specific example, I made some changes to one of my projects. Here are the messages and costs associated with them:
| Message | Cost |
|---|---|
| Eliminate the ‘teacher comments’ feature from the application completely. Ensure that all related functionalities and references to this feature are removed, streamlining the user interface and focusing solely on the essential components of the report. Maintain the integrity of the remaining features while ensuring that the removal does not affect the overall layout or usability of the application. | $0.11 |
| Do the same for the student information section. We don’t want to show the student’s name or today’s date on the generated report card | $0.10 |
| Rearrange the layout of the generated table by placing the class names in the header section and moving the evaluation criteria to the first column. Ensure that the table maintains a clear and organized structure, allowing for easy readability and comprehension of the information presented. | $0.28 |
| Rename evaluation criteria to be goals. Updated variable names to match | $0.10 |
| Implement functionality to save the classes and goals to local storage when the ‘generate report card’ button is clicked. Additionally, ensure that the application retrieves this data from local storage upon loading, allowing users to retain their previous inputs and avoid re-entering the same information during subsequent visits to the form. Fall back to the placeholder options if nothing was previously saved to local storage | $0.08 |
