cxuan-ai-labs: an open-source AI workflow and developer education lab

Hi everyone, I’m cxuan, maintainer of bestJavaer / cxuan-ai-labs.

bestJavaer started as an open-source Java and computer science learning repository, covering Java, JVM, concurrency, operating systems, networking, databases, Spring, and interview preparation. That original content is still preserved in the repository as an archive.

The project has now evolved into cxuan-ai-labs: an open AI workflow and developer education lab. The current repository includes several main sections:

  • AI articles: practical notes on AI coding, agents, model behavior, tool usage, costs, and failure cases.
  • AI resources: curated AI tools, open-source projects, and references that are useful for developers.
  • Development guidelines: notes and conventions for AI-assisted development, project maintenance, and developer workflows.
  • Works and open-source projects: experiments, tools, and projects maintained or explored as part of the lab.
  • Archived bestJavaer content: the original Java and computer science learning materials remain available for readers.

The goal is to make practical AI development knowledge easier to discover and reuse. Instead of only summarizing announcements or product launches, the project focuses on real usage: what was tried, what worked, what failed, how much it cost, and how other developers can reproduce or adapt the workflow.

The project currently has 6.6k+ GitHub stars and 1.3k+ forks. It is also supported by the Vercel Open Source Program Spring 2026 cohort.

With Vercel, I’m working on improving the public site, adding better preview deployments, organizing the AI resources more clearly, improving search and navigation, and eventually building small interactive demos around AI coding workflows.

Looking forward to learning from other open-source builders here.
