Yesterday, those credits were still available - over the past few months, since that promotion, I hadn’t really had to touch any. The $20 subscription tier and the $2 daily free credits were enough. However, it was nice to have around!
I’m wondering why those credits have all of a sudden disappeared - there was absolutely no indication that this was going to happen and it’s very frustrating and disappointing. I’d also like to know what steps to take to restore those credits.
The credits from that promotion had a 3 month expiration date which has now elapsed, unfortunately.
v0 consumes credits in priority order based on which will expire first
$2 gift (expires the next day)
if your plan renewed before Dec 10, then $20 monthly
Free0 (expires Dec 10)
if your plan renewed after Dec 10, then $20 monthly
The UI doesn’t fully reflect this consumption order nor the expiration dates of the credits, which makes it hard to plan and optimize. The team is working on a redesign that will make this much clearer
The 3 month expiration may make sense but it hasn’t been 3 months yet.
As this twitter post says:
The coins has been added around 15th of October.
3 months expiration date means that coins would expire somewhere around mid of January.
We have 10th of December currently.
Based on the answer of a Staff member which suggests “Free0 (expires Dec 10)” I suppose the coins from the other promotions were removed while clearing the ones from Free0

I don’t think there was any mention of them expiring in the original promotion, so I didn’t know it was happening. That, combined with the lack of indication that those credits were about to expire makes this a very annoying customer experience, tbh.
