I am posting here because I have been unable to obtain any update regarding DMCA Case #01363270, which was submitted to the Vercel Safety Team.
I represent Flocky, a company specialized in copyright protection for authors and publishers. The reported website is operating a subscription-based service that commercially distributes copyrighted books without authorization, including works belonging to several authors represented by our company. As the reported website remains online, these authors continue to suffer financial losses from the ongoing unauthorized commercial exploitation of their copyrighted works.
After the initial response from the Vercel Safety Team, we promptly provided every piece of additional information that was requested, including:
- Detailed evidence of the infringement;
- Screenshots of the platform;
- Evidence demonstrating that the service commercially distributes copyrighted books through paid subscriptions;
- Identification of the copyrighted works;
- A formal authorization confirming that we are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Since submitting all of the requested documentation, we have not received any further response. We have also sent follow-up emails requesting a status update, but those have likewise gone unanswered.
Our notice fully complies with the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)), and all information necessary to evaluate the notice has already been provided. The reported activity also constitutes a violation of Brazilian Copyright Law (Law No. 9,610/1998), which protects the exclusive rights of copyright holders, as well as the applicable legal framework governing online copyright enforcement in Brazil.
I understand that every case requires review, but I am concerned by the complete lack of communication while the reported website continues to commercially exploit copyrighted works without authorization.
I am posting here to ask whether this response time is considered normal and whether there is another way to obtain an update on the status of DMCA Case #01363270. Any guidance from the Vercel team or the community would be greatly appreciated.
