Domain: challengersranking.online (team: bernies-projects-445586a2, Hobby plan, Vercel nameservers ns1/ns2.vercel-dns.com)
Summary: No DNS record changes made today are being published to the nameservers, even though they appear correctly in the dashboard. The zone appears frozen since the recent IP-range migration.
Details:
-
Several hours ago I added at the apex: two MX records (mx1.forwardemail.net priority 10, mx2.forwardemail.net priority 20) and one TXT record (forward-email=…). All three show correctly in the DNS Records dashboard.
-
Vercel’s support AI agent checked the backend database and confirmed all three records are present under my team scope.
-
However, ns1/ns2.vercel-dns.com return NODATA for apex MX and TXT queries. Verified via multiple independent public resolvers (Google DoH, AliDNS) with fresh, uncached queries.
-
To isolate the issue, I added a test TXT record at a subdomain (probe.challengersranking.online) — it is NOT published either. So this is not apex-specific: no record changes propagate at all.
-
Records created before the migration still resolve fine (e.g. send.challengersranking.online TXT/MX from May 6, and the apex A record). The SOA serial returned by the nameservers appears stuck at a pre-migration value (1777921410).
-
The domain shows the “DNS Change Recommended” banner (planned IP range expansion, A → 216.198.79.1), which is why I believe the zone sync got stuck during that migration.
-
The Hobby plan support flow routes DNS Configuration cases to this community, hence this post.
Request: please trigger a manual re-sync / re-publish of the DNS zone for challengersranking.online. Happy to provide dig outputs or any other diagnostics. Thanks!
