Hi Vercel team,
I’m using the Hobby plan with a monorepo where 6 Vercel Projects are connected to the same GitHub repository.
When a commit changes only one project directory, Vercel’s “Skip unaffected projects” feature correctly marks unrelated projects as “Skipped - Not affected”.
However, those skipped projects still appear as real deployment objects in the Vercel API. For example, they have deployment IDs and effectively complete immediately.
I could not find a definitive answer in the Monorepo or Limits documentation about how these objects are counted.
Question 1: Does a deployment created by “Skip unaffected projects”, shown as “Skipped - Not affected” and present as a deployment object in the Vercel API, count toward the Hobby plan’s api-deployments-free-per-day / “Deployments per day: 100 per 86400 seconds” limit?
Question 2: Is the separate “Skipped deployments per minute” limit completely independent from “Deployments per day”, or can the same skipped deployment count toward both?
This matters because a single-project PR currently creates deployment objects for all 6 connected projects, and we are hitting the Hobby deployment limit.
Thank you.
