Does the V0 team really care about what we think?

fuck,fuck,fuck!!!

The recently updated Agent mode is really crazy. It only consumes more points, but completes fewer tasks. On the contrary, the completed functions will be destroyed by it. This is an unprecedented garbage upgrade. My project has been launched and used. Recently, I used V0 to optimize the system details and UI. As a result, not only did I not achieve the effect I wanted, but my system functions were messed up.

I’ve browsed the Agent mode feedback posts, and 99% of the users are complaining about the Agent mode. Many days have passed, and it still hasn’t been restored to its previous perfect state. So does V0 really care about user opinions?

Since the price change, V0 has been making useless updates without any warning. User opinions and problems have not been fixed. The problem I mentioned before about uploading zip files on PC not being able to display the zip contents has not been resolved yet. So what V0 really cares about is how to consume our points faster. In my opinion, all the updates of V0 are accelerating the consumption of points.

The team are reading every piece of feedback.

If you have any chat examples you’d like to share with us, send it over so we can dig deeper and help you out here. Thank you.

Thanks Pauline. Another issue that I have now Agent Mode that I didin’t have before is Restoration. Agent Mode fails to restore a previously working version. I never had this issue before. I could always trust that if my changes failed, then I could restore an earlier version. That’s no longer the case with Agent Mode. Please note this with your engineering team and hopefully it can be resolved in a future release.

Can you tell me more about what you mean?

Are you not seeing the restore button, or it just doesn’t restore?

Hi Pauline, I’m absolutely sure that it’s not restoring like before. I used restore constantly before the update so I know how to restore previous versions, but I could always rely on the fact that I could revert to an earlier version. But, in the attached screenshot, you can see that I’m now unable to restore version 1 and version 1 was created and deployed to Vercel, but now it’s corrupted before. In creating new versions, the agent needs to always allow the user to go back to an earlier working version. Fortunately, I had forked the code before I started these prompts; otherwise, I would be in a world of trouble.

Are you able to share the chat with us?

Hi Pauline, I’m away from my computer (on my mobile), but here’s a link to chat thread where I’ve been unable to restore earlier versions:

Please let me know if I need to change my settings for the chat.

Yes - can you change it to unlisted?

Sounds good. It’s unlisted now, so you should be able to see it. Also, it happens across multiple chats since the Agent mode update.

This is happening to me as well! How did you all solve it?

We can wait to hear back from Pauline, but I suspect it’s a code update. I’ve found that v0 is great at fixing these sort of things, but it will likely come in a future release. I’ve been a customer since March and relied upon the restore capability extensively so it’s a bummer that Agent Mode likely introduced this bug, but I trust they will fix it soon. Thanks for sharing your experiences as well.

Hello, the new update is not really great at all the agent can not do simple prompt to even a simple ui changes to a small component or a section - it doesn’t follfoow the instructions i give neither detect any ui notes i give thro a screen shot will we be able to get these issues fixed since it wasn’t in the previous model?

i had a simple request for the agent to do , i had a section for partners it contains 28 images they have the same naming different number c1.png –> c28.png i had the agent adjusting something for me in this section then i updated some stuff in it then re-sent it again for the agent to adjust this 28 partners images and i guarded it to use the updated component that i have multiple times and it still doesn’t follow the instructions and keep using the old version it has - so i had to redo the updates again after it added the 28 images…. its just super stupid now this is just a small example it dits not as usefull at before at all

Completely agree with this. I dont see any difference in how it performs, maybe even slightly worse than before the update. But i can clearly see a massive difference in the credit consumption and how its sucking me dry. Might have to hire a normal engineer to ship any serious project because the cost is coming close to that
