Does Vercel Have a Community Advocate or Contributor Program

Hey there! I know this is a pretty specific question, but I used to be a Technical Program Manager for DevRel and Community at a Vercel-adjacent company, and I really love what you’re building.

I’d love to evangelize Vercel, especially for startups—it’s such a game-changer for early teams. Do you all have any kind of community contributor program, like a path to become a certified advocate or to host Vercel-branded meetups/hack nights (virtual or in-person)?

Just want to make sure I’m supporting the ecosystem in a way that aligns with your goals!

Hey @gabby-2486! Nothing formal at the moment, but we often invite community members to join us for live sessions to highlight their work. Community-written guides are included in our handbook to make them easier to find. We also invite community members when we know they live near a live event location.

Feel free to join in conversations here so we can get to know you!

Howdy, Amy! Thanks so much for getting back to me! Looking forward to seeing how community roles + contributions play out in the future but I’m super impressed with everything the Vercel community team has done so far!!! You all are amazing folks and I love the vibes here! I’m particularly fond of the weekly recap threads.

You will definitely see me around! I’m a huge supporter of open source (even helped relaunch the open source sponsorship program at CF!) and can’t wait to contribute to open source things here!

I signed up for the Sentry event on Thursday so hopefully I’ll see you all there!

Cheers!
