'domain already exists' error, unresponsive dev

hi :slight_smile: I am having a challenge transferring in a domain, vercel accepts my authorisation code and gives me a cost for the registration, but then when I accept it gives an error saying ‘domain already exists’. Am a hobby acc user so am unable to create a support case, hoping I can find some info or assistance here.

I believe that the domain was in use in a previous developer’s vercel project. I am the current manager of the domain and have access to the DNS settings etc. I have managed to get the domain active in my own vercel project, having added vercel DNS txt and A record as per vercel instruction, but when I want to transfer the domain in it gives the error again. I have deleted the domain from my proj and tried again with the transfer but it still gives the error.

I have tried contacting the previous dev, they’ve supplied vercel passwords but not the verification code or email account access to actually login to vercel :frowning: and are no longer responding to my messages.
