Domain auto-renewed without my intention — refund denied by support bot

Hey everyone,

I purchased a domain through Vercel a while back and it just auto-renewed. I didn’t want this. The domain was about to expire in a week and I had no plans to keep it because the renewal price is too high for me.

I wasn’t aware auto-renewal was enabled by default, and by the time I noticed, the charge had already gone through.

I reached out to Vercel support to request a refund, but I only got responses from their automated support system and was essentially told no. I never got to speak with an actual person about my case.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and managed to get a refund? Is there a way to reach a real human on the support team?

What did the AI bot say?

AI Bot said that the policy is not allowing a refund. However i saw that basically the new period for the domain starts on 11th, so maybe we can find a common ground.
