Domain configuration issue with Vercel-purchased domain

I purchased a domain through Vercel on 12 March, but after 4 days I still see “Invalid Configuration” and “Third Party” label. Alarmingly, the domain still shows as available for purchase on major registrars and even Vercel itself, despite med having bought it.

I purchased directly through Vercel yet can’t change nameservers there. The settings say “This domain is registered with a Third Party”. Nameserver changes must be made at the domain’s registrar" - which doesn’t make sense since I bought it through Vercel.

I migrated another domain from Cloudflare at the same time which properly completed and now works after ~2 days.

Vercel DNS shows my nameservers:

$ dig @ns1.vercel-dns.com +short NS <my-domain>
ns1.vercel-dns.com.
ns2.vercel-dns.com.

But public DNS doesn’t see them:

$ dig @1.1.1.1 +short NS <my-domain>
(no results)

Thanks in advance!

You can also use v0 to narrow down the possibilities.

Thank you @anshumanb. I’ve already filed a case, but haven’t received a response yet. This is quite urgent, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @realguse, that’s the right approach. Our company is on a offsite this week so the response time might be longer but rest assured our on call support engineers will definitely help you out.

Same thing is happening to me as well. Case has been filed but completely blocked.
