I'm trying to connect momentum-agency.fr to a new Vercel project, but I'm stuck with the following error:
This domain is linked to another Vercel account.
Here's what I've already done:
- ✅ Removed the old conflicting A record (
217.70.184.38) - ✅ Configured the A record to
216.198.79.1 - ✅ Configured the
wwwCNAME to the Vercel target - ✅ Added both required
_vercelTXT verification records - ✅ DNS propagation is complete
- ✅ Vercel AI confirmed that it can see both TXT verification records and that the DNS configuration is correct
The domain owner also confirmed that they are not aware of any other Vercel account currently using this domain.
The only remaining error is:
This domain is linked to another Vercel account.
The Vercel AI assistant suggested opening a support case
Has anyone experienced this before?
- Does this require manual intervention from the Vercel team?
- Is there any way to identify or release the account currently associated with the domain?
