I'm trying to connect a custom domain, reitechstudio.com, to my project (reitechstudio), and it's stuck showing "Invalid Configuration" for both the apex domain and www subdomain.

Nameservers are set correctly to ns1.vercel-dns.com and ns2.vercel-dns.com at the registrar (iRegister) - confirmed by the registrar and by three independent diagnostic tools:

1. LeafDNS (leafdns.com): Parent nameservers correctly report ns1/ns2.vercel-dns.com as delegated, but both return "Nameserver is not authoritative for reitechstudio.com."

2. DNSViz (dnsviz.net): The authentication chain from root through .com resolves cleanly. The failure is specifically at reitechstudio.com, with 16 errors across every record type (NS, A, AAAA, MX, SOA, TXT, etc). Example error: "Response errors for reitechstudio.com/TXT - invalid RCODE (REFUSED)" from both 198.51.44.13 and 198.51.45.13 (Vercel's nameserver IPs).

3. Verisign DNSSEC Debugger (dnssec-debugger.verisignlabs.com): States plainly "No response from reitechstudio.com nameservers" and confirms both ns1.vercel-dns.com and ns2.vercel-dns.com "return REFUSED for reitechstudio.com/DNSKEY."

Domain stuck on "Invalid Configuration" — nameservers REFUSED for reitechstudio.com

Follow-up on my earlier post (merged into this thread). Still unresolved, so posting an update with what I've actually confirmed.

Setup:

• reitechstudio.com nameservers pointed to ns1/ns2.vercel-dns.com
• Domain added under a project on my Hobby team

What I've checked:

• dig ns reitechstudio.com confirms Vercel's nameservers are authoritative at the registrar level
• Queries against those nameservers return REFUSED
• No CAA or _acme-challenge conflicts found
• It's been over 48 hours, so this doesn't look like a propagation issue

I don't have visibility into why the zone isn't resolving on Vercel's side. Can someone look into what's blocking it? Happy to share dig output, DNSViz results, or my team ID if that helps.

Since reitech.al went through cleanly under identical conditions, I don't think this is a generic propagation delay — something specific to reitechstudio.com's zone isn't provisioning. It looks like there is a problem with your domain. Please work with your registrar to resolve the issue.
