I have initiated and paid for a domain transfer from GoDaddy to Vercel. However, there is a 60-day lock in place due to updation of contact information, due to which the transfer was rejected by GoDaddy. Given that the transfer won’t be going ahead for now, what are my options here? Can I resume the transfer at a later date once the lock has been removed?
The domain troubleshooting guide can help with most custom domain configuration issues. You might be able to use that guide to solve it before a human is available to help you. Then you can come back here and share the answer for bonus points.
You can also use v0 to narrow down the possibilities.
I tried doing that as my first step, but then after going through the steps, and when creating a case, it said that only Vercel Community support was available to me, since I don’t have a paid Vercel plan. I do plan to get one once I am ready for deployment, and I was transferring my domain to Vercel for that exact reason, but then this happened.
Hi @anshumanb, were you able to see my message above? My domain transfer has now been canceled, but I have no one I can reach out to get the refund on the money I was charged for the transfer.
Hi @anshumanb, I had already tried what you had suggested, but tried it again anyway. As you can see from the screenshot below, it keeps redirecting me back to the Vercel community, as it says that that is the only support available to me at my tier. There is no button I can click to ‘submit’ the case.
Are you able to help escalate this please somehow internally? Thank you!
