I want to transfer a domain in to my Vercel account from a third-party register. I have the authorization code and the domain is unlocked, but when trying to action the transfer it shows the error: “The domain `interventionarchitecture.com` already exists” (it is already connected to an existing project as a third-party existing domain).
How can I complete the registrar transfer to Vercel? Can it be done without any downtime on the site?

If I understand correctly you’re clicking the Transfer in button and when you submit after filling the form you get the error?
Yes exactly. I’m clicking Transfer in, entering the domain and auth code, it shows the cost of registering the domain for a further year, then when I click to start the transfer it shows the error message ‘domain already exists’.

Most likely there shouldn’t be a downtime because you’re already on Vercel Nameservers.
