I’ve been charged for a domain transfer (vdmurbanregcompliance.com) to vercel. I only got a notification of the transfer initiation and nothing more. No further instruction or wait period or anything. The domain still says invalid configuration, even though I have paid for the domain to be transferred to vercel. I’m not trying to use a custom domain (without transfer), I’m trying to transfer the domain to vercel, and use it on vercel.
The domain troubleshooting guide can help with most custom domain configuration issues. You might be able to use that guide to solve it before a human is available to help you. Then you can come back here and share the answer for bonus points.

I checked on your domain transfer and can confirm it was started successfully. The status is “transfer in requires registry action”. That means the transfer is awaiting approval from Verisign, the registry that manages .com domains. This is the last step in the domain transfer process.
If you’ve already unlocked the domain (Transferring Domains to Another Team or Project), you shouldn’t need to take any action at this point.
Keep in mind that transferring a domain can take up to a week. I recommend waiting for the registry to process the transfer. If the transfer is not complete by 2025-09-30T04:00:00Z, let us and your previous registrar know so we can investigate.

I’m stuck on configuring the domain i have transferred in. It says I need to configure it with my provider, but is Not listed with them anymore. I cannot find where to re-configure it at.
